La Fraternidad de San Cayetano (MEN'S CLUB) de la Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe fue establecida con la finalidad de reunir a los hombres de la parroquia como un grupo en búsqueda de un mejor entendimiento de nuestra religión y con más significado, realizando cada uno el papel que debemos desempeñar tanto en nuestras familias, como en nuestra parroquia y comunidad.

The Fraternity of Saint Cajetan of Men’s club of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish was established in order to gather men of the parish as a group, in search of a better and more significant understanding of our religion, as well as to emphasize which is the role of them in their families, parish and community. 

El grupo José María Tomassi tiene como finalidad el incentivar la espiritualidad entre los fieles de nuestra parroquia. Para alcanzar este fin, se fomenta la adoración a Jesús Sacramentado todos los Jueves; la devoción a los corazones de Jesús y María cada primer Viernes y Sábado del mes; la devoción a Jesús Misericordioso y la práctica de obras de Misericordia. 

The Prayer Group San José María Tomassi has as its goal to improve the spirituality among our faithful in the parish. For this purpose, they encourage the adoration of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament every Thursday; devotion to the hearts of Jesus and Mary every first Friday and Saturday of the month; devotion to the Divine Mercy and the practice of works of mercy.

En el origen de la Orden Teatina, se encuentra la Compañía del Divino Amor, fundada por un seglar y que servía a los más necesitados del momento. Ello nos lleva a que la participación de los laicos que asisten a esta parroquia pastoreada desde sus inicios por Sacerdotes Teatinos puedan apoyarse en los laicos, así como los laicos en ellos. La familia seglar teatina se fundamenta en el mismo Evangelio con la referencia del lema teatino: “Buscar primero el Reino de Dios”, siguiendo los pasos de nuestro fundador San Cayetano para no hacer jamás la voluntad propia y profesar por el camino de la perfección espiritual; además se busca una conversión interior, pues para cambiar el mundo debe uno cambiar primero—renovar-renovarse. 



El objetivo de la Familia Seglar Teatina ha de concretarse en una militancia y testimonio cristiano que promuevan un cambio en la sociedad actual que es indiferente, insolidaria, individualista y consumista.

From the same origin of the Theatine Order, we have the Company of Divine Love, founded by a Secular person who helped the neediest of the moment. That leads us to emphasize that the participation of the Laity who attend this parish, guided from the beginning by the Theatine Priests, may be supported by the Laity as well as the Laity by the Priests. The Theatine Secular Family is founded in the same Gospel of the Theatine theme: “Seek first the Kingdom of God”, following the steps of our Founder Saint Cajetan, by never seeking our own will but God’s and by professing in the path of spiritual perfection; also, seeking an interior conversion, because in order to change the world, each person must be converted first (renew oneself and be renewed). The goals of the Theatine Secular Family are to give a Christian testimony and to promote a change in the current society which at the moment is indifferent, with no solidarity, individualist and in a mindset of consumerism. 

Hacer guardia y oración durante las horas de la noche a Jesús Sacramentado en reparación y desagravio de los ultrajes que le prodiga la humanidad.

Stand guard and pray during the hours of the night to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament in reparation and redress for the outrages that humanity lavishes upon him.

Asisten en la Liturgia, facilitando el cuidado de la organización previa de las celebraciones: sonido, vestiduras sagradas, objetos litúrgicos, y la coordinación de los ministros.

Sacristans are responsible in assisting with the Liturgical celebrations and for the care of the organization before Mass: the sound, sacred vestments, liturgical objects, and the coordination of Ministers. 

Asisten en las celebraciones litúrgicas. (Eucaristía, Bautismos, Matrimonios, Quinceañeras). Responden a las necesidades del celebrante durante la celebración litúrgica. Además reciben formación litúrgica continua (teórica y práctica), cada segundo sábado del mes.

Altar Servers assist in the celebration of the Liturgy (Eucharist, Baptisms, Weddings, Quinceañeras). They respond to the needs of the Celebrant during the Liturgy. They receive continuous Liturgy formation (theory and practice) every second Saturday of the month.

Ayudan con la impartición de la eucaristía en las celebraciones de la parroquia. También participan en el ministerio de enfermos. Tienen reuniones mensuales cada primer lunes del mes.

They assist with the distribution of Holy Communion during the celebration of the Eucharist in the parish. They also participate in the Ministry of the Sick. They have monthly meetings every first Monday of the month. 

Dan la bienvenida a los parroquianos y visitantes. También ayudan a acomodar a las personas en los asientos disponibles durante la misa y a distribuir los boletines semanales al final de la celebración. 

Ministers of Hospitality welcome parishioners and visitors to the parish. They also help accommodate people to available seats during the Mass as well as distribute bulletins at the end of the celebration.

Proclaman la palabra de Dios los sábados, domingos y misas de la semana. Es un ministerio que nos exige tener una cuidadosa preparación con oración y vida personal congruente. 

Lectors proclaim the Word of God on Saturday and Sunday celebrations and weekday masses. This is a Ministry that demands having careful preparation with prayer and a christian personal life.

La Liturgia es animada por la participación en cada misa de un coro que procura estar en sintonía con los Tiempos Litúrgicos. Alegran y unen a la comunidad cristiana en un mismo canto. 

The Liturgy is animated by the participation of a choir at each Mass. The choir needs to be in accord with the Liturgical Seasons. They bring joy and unify the Christian community in one same canticle.

Anticipan un ensayo que brinda elementos litúrgicos y prácticos del rito que se ha de celebrar, resaltando el verdadero sentido de la celebración. Esto ayuda a la depuración de faltas a la sagrada Liturgia, especialmente en los Ritos de Bodas y Quinceañeras.

They help with rehearsal in anticipation to the ceremony in order to review the liturgical elements and practices of the Rite to be celebrated, highlighting the true meaning of the ceremony. This also helps to minimize the faults done to the Sacred Liturgy most especially during Weddings and Quinceañeras.
